ADVANCED ELEMENTARY LANGUAGE TEST BATTERY – 16 SETS OF 10

AE-L TESTS stands for complete set of tests (test battery) which includes all the tests designed for the Montessori Language Curriculum from fifth to eighth grade. There are ten copies of each of the 16 different language tests which can serve a multi-age class of approximately 20 students for one school year. In each test battery there are two types of tests: the REVIEW TESTS (ART – Advanced Review Test) and the GRADE ACHIEVEMENT TESTS (GAT). The Review Tests are designed to cover small sections at a time of a year‘s curriculum. The first review test of each level is used for placing a new child. The Grade Achievement Tests cover one whole year’s level and should be administered a few weeks after the student has already been placed (to show where the student started, and again a few weeks before the end of the school year (to show the progress at the end of the grade level). The tests may vary in length from single to double page (8 ½” x 11”) and always include a Score Sheet for the teacher to record the results in percentage.
